- Dr. Mürşitoğlu was born in Adana in 1959.
- Received his primary and secondary education in various cities and completed his high school education in Tarsus in 1976.
- In 1983, he graduated from Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine and completed his specialization in the Department of Ophthalmology at the same university in 1989.
- After serving at Adana SSK Hospital from 1989 to 1999, Dr. Mürşitoğlu played a crucial role in the establishment of SEVGİGÖZ and ensured its continuity. Since its establishment, he has been actively working full-time at SEVGİGÖZ.
- Dr. Mürşitoğlu is a member of the Turkish Ophthalmology Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
